My laptop is no longer which means i can't use my scanner :( sorry for the poor quality pictures. hopefully i can get things figured out soon. If anybody actually reads this let me know, and maybe we can be pen pals. have a happy weekend. xxx sonja
I decided to add a bit of color this week, and since I found a new cheap copy shop down the block next time i'll make some color copies of the zine. xxx have a fancy week
So I just realized that I no longer have to make the 1.5 mile walk to Kinko's because I can just make copies at school! I'm working on making this weeks zine a bit more exciting and less melancholy, more pretty pictures and possibly some recipes i've tried during the week. Last night's fried cabbage and bacon salad was a BIG mistake. Yuck, way too much grease...
I really hope I stick with this project. I never finish anything I start, but seeing as how I have been so upset that I don't keep a diary of some sort, I think I may see this one through. I love the idea of having a tangible journal, but I seem to get frustrated with the confines of a notebook. So this is the best way I could think to keep my memories in both digital and paper form while at the same time allowing others to read my secrets. I apologize ahead of time If you read something in the following issues that has your name in it. I have decided that in this zine I will rarely censor myself in order to find some honesty within myself. Basically this weekly zine project is my self-created version of therapy. I know that visually it appears sloppy and haphazardly put together, but that's okay for now...
